A New...New Cover for His Candy Christmas

As an artist, I tend to be a perfectionist and sometimes it gets in the way of the vision in my head because I tend to go too far when creating an art piece. That saying 'stop while you're ahead' screams inside my mind, but I don't listen and keep going. Sometimes my art pieces are tossed in the trash/recycle bin or sometimes they turn out even better than the original.

If you stopped by my blog on March 13, you would have seen my post on revealing the cover for His Candy Christmas. It looked like this...
I designed five other covers but picked that one (and after getting critiques from my family, lol). But I wasn't completely happy with that cover. It was too muted and didn't grab me. SO...this weekend I designed a new...new cover.
I am beyond thrilled with my new design! It really portrays the story and stands out a lot more. I love it, and so does my family, lol. I went back to my March 13 post and updated the cover reveal to the polished (new) cover.

I also worked on a new cover for Kissed By Winter, which again took me five designs before I finally hit the jackpot with the 'right' look/feel. Be sure to watch for that cover reveal later this week!
