He needs a great idea

She can provide it—but at what cost?

The battle lines are drawn when army medic turned EMT Ava Andrews enters a contest devised by San Francisco entrepreneur Kyle Quinn. The first responder isn’t just competing for a tempting grand prize. She’s fighting her attraction to the self-made millionaire…and losing the war. But private and professional boundaries blur when a breach of trust threatens Ava’s future with Kyle.

Between The Pages
This story is all about the characters. While I enjoy a book with a picturesque setting or packed with action, this story hits the mark with exceptional characters. Ava stood out in The Doctor’s Recovery (book two in the series), so I was anxious to read her story. Kyle was an interesting character. Once you get to know Kyle, he grows on you. Then he does something stupid and you want to slap him (typical hero, lol) but he makes up for everything in the end. The author takes you through the characters’ journey of growth. Their stories are complicated and emotional. Friendship with undeniable chemistry. You will root for Ava and Kyle from beginning to end. The additional cast of family and friends is a bonus.
