February #OneWriteWord - Strength

My word for February is STRENGTH.

First, and most important, I'll need plenty of strength just get through this winter. The light dusting we received at Christmas was pretty and added to the magic of the season. Well, the mountains of snow we now have, are not pretty and the magic has long worn off.

Second, I am channeling strength to have the last two books in my Redford Falls series published. One this month and the last in March. Fingers crossed.

And last, but equally important, I need strength to overcome my fears to move forward with a particular writing project. I was told that I let fear get in my way and it stops me from achieving my goals. So, I'm trying my best to push aside that fear and take that step forward.

January #OneWriteWord - Balance

As a writer, this quote holds a lot of truth. Balancing writing and daily life is one of the things I struggle with the most because sometimes finding the time to sit down to write can be a challenge. Disappointment and frustration grip hard. But then I realize, I can only accomplish so much in one day. Not every day is perfect, but making progress each day is what matters. There is always tomorrow.

"Balance" is the perfect word to start the new year!
