They had an awesome trip and did lots of sightseeing. She sent me pictures every day of her touring of lots of castles, gardens, wildlife parks, and more. Before my daughter left for her trip, she asked what I wanted, and I only asked for two things. A tea cup and saucer (made in England) and a postcard of the Tower Bridge. Well, I received more than those two items. I did get the post card and tea cup, but also two T-shirts and a Diddle Squat book. She also said she'll be back later today to give my a few other items she bought me. I love the T-shirts, the post cards are past and present images, and I'm looking forward to reading Jeremy Clarkson's book, especially, since we just finished watching the fifth season of Clarkson's Farm on Prime.
But look at that above picture! This is the tea cup and saucer that she bought me. I absolutely love it! Victorian Violets, and of course bone China made in England. It's just gorgeous. I wanted to use it, but I'm afraid to break it, so I placed it in my China cabinet with the tea cup set given to me by my husband's grandmother.I hope to someday see the sights my daughter visited while on vacation, especially the Tower Bridge.
