Hello Summer!

I'm several days behind posting my summer vibes mood board, but here it is!

These are just a couple of images that reflect my summer...

Lots of reading as well as a cool drinks and chilling outside.

I also have two writing projects I want to get done. The covers have been design and the books are currently going through edits and will then be publish. Both books are in my Redford Falls series.

Not pictured here are walks with my boys and some pool time for my Lab. Also lots of BBQs and hopefully a few dinners out with my husband. And maybe a day trip getaway.

Happy Summer!

Spring 2025 Mood Board

I've been busy editing the first book in my Redford Falls series and designing new covers, which I'm making great progress on both, but since Spring has finally sprung, I took a few minutes to create a new mood board.

My Spring mood board is filled with edits, cover designs, new writing, reading, gardening, and walking my dogs.

Monday Mood - Tired of Winter

Anyone else tired of winter? After a cold but sunny Saturday, Sunday was milder, but snow fell again last night. I realize it's February, and we  have over twenty days left, but it's been such a cold and snowy winter, I'm done. Bring on spring. Milder temperatures this week! Fingers crossed it starts to melt the foot of ice in the yard.

My winter mood board depicts a collage of my current to-do list.
From left to right...
1. Winter means snow, but I have my fingers crossed for an early spring!
2. Finish another screenplay.
3. Lots of reading.
4. Warm and cozy in front of my electric fireplace.
5. Walks with the dogs.
6. Writing and editing a new book.

One Write Word - Beginning

This weeks' one write word is BEGINNING.

I don't make resolutions, but with the beginning of a new year, my focus will be on the following:

Health. As aging begins to battle my body, it's important to stay fit and healthy. I need to find ways to conquer the aches and pains, and maintain strong mental health.

Screenwriter. I want to write a few more screenplays this year and hopefully gain more interest in them.

Writer. Now that I retain my catalogue of books, I need to get more edited and republished. I also hope to finish my murder mystery book as well as start a family drama/women's fiction series.

Artist. I want to re-channel the artist in me and escape into the world of design. Not only will my artistic-self revitalize my creativity, it will also assist in my writing drive and health strengthening.
