Flowers my husband gave me for our 34th wedding anniversary.
Where did the weekend go?
Saturday was busy with the usual housework, then my husband and I went out for a date night to celebrate our anniversary. We had reservations at a local steak house. We ate delicious food and had a couple of drinks. The server gave us a complimentary piece of cake as a congratulations.
Sunday started with my daughter and I going shopping for a few things, then some yard work, and we took the dogs for a walk.
Monday was a holiday here and for some reason, I began spring cleaning. By lunch time I was exhausted, but felt great from purging the clutter.
The weather was perfect, sun and warmth all three days. As well as the bouquet of flowers my husband bought me (consisting of carnations, roses, daisies, and lilies) he also bought a hydrangea plant. We planted it in a pot and are looking forward to see what color the blooms will be.
The days flew by, but it was a wonderful anniversary weekend.
